Our founder
Our founder and herbalist, Lisa Luciano, is a registered nurse with over 30 years’ experience in health care. She began her herbal journey over 20 years ago when her son, then an infant, had constant bouts of sinusitis, ear infections and skin irritations.
He was prescribed continual antibiotics for in excess of two years that proved ineffective, if not harmful. She began reading about and taking an interest in natural herbal therapies, where she found relief for her child. This spawned her further interest in alternative and natural remedies. She then enrolled in an herbal medicine program where she studied under a renowned international herbalist for over two years. Drawing from her health care background and her botanical and herbal therapeutic knowledge, she began developing a unique vegan, all natural, and mostly organic, skin care line over 10 years ago. She has been sharing her products with friends and family during this time. Now we have the ability to share them with you!

Basis for Our Products
We are keenly aware of the health risks posed by the environment, including ingredients in personal care products. Our products are mostly organic. In fact, all of our product ingredients are organic, except for polyglycerol oleate contained in our Facial Wash. Polyglycerol oleate is a plant based mild emulsifier and approved for use in “ECOCERT Certified” cosmetics. ECOCERT, based in France, is one of the largest organic certification organizations in the world.
Many popular moisturizing products on the market contain ingredients that we have difficulty pronouncing. These products may contain harmful ingredients like preservatives, perfumes and dyes, which could irritate the skin and harm overall health. Many of these ingredients are known carcinogens and have been linked to cancer. Also, many moisturizers and skin creams contain animal-based fats, such as lanolin, which weigh your skin down and clog pores, sometimes contributing to severe acne problems.
Natural botanicals and rich oils that have been used for centuries are the fulcrum of our products. These botanicals and oils possess numerous beneficial properties that range from skin hydration to skin healing (see our products and ingredients below). Many of these potentiate each other and result in a product packed with anti-oxidants to help stave off free radicals. Free radicals are damaging to the skin and cause your skin to age. Free radicals are unstable oxygen molecules that rob oxygen molecules from healthy skin cells. When this process occurs, it causes skin aging. This is called the “free radical theory of aging.” Free radicals can be created by exposure to pollutants, including smog, dust and cigarette smoke.
